This little windows utility is a great windows optimizer. It will optimize your Windows XP, Vista or Win7 for better performance by disabling many services that you may not want. The main purpose of this software was to make windows XP perform faster but now it can tweak many aspects of windows vista and windows 7 as well. XP AntiSpy allows you to easily enable/disable certain unnecessary or undesirable features in Windows (e.g. Windows Messenger, Windows Media Player’s automatic codec download, disable error reporting, automatic updates etc.) You can also enable/disable the time synchronization service, and change the time server to synchronize with. Another great feature is the ability to patch TCPIP.SYS to increase the maximum number of half-opened TCP connections, which is critical to anyone running P2P applications. This will increase and boost internet speed of your connection. Not only it can disable or enable services but also can tweak settings of windows.

XP AntiSpy is a little windows utility that lets you disable some built-in update and authentication ‘features’ in Windows. For example, ‘Automatic Updates’. You do not know what these kind of services transfer from your machine to other machines on the internet. So you might wanna do these manually and disable such functions. If you disable such services manually from windows then probably it will take you half an hour by checking or unchecking few check boxes. Why waste time when a little neat utility can do the same in few clicks?
